DyNaMo & IBER

Date: 2017

Client: International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC)

Category: Institutional Commission

Two speculative field kits — DyNaMo and IBER — designed for crisis response and civil registration, commissioned by the IFRC for "The Future Is Now." The kits imagine how humanitarian workers might register and support displaced populations using near-future tools, grounded in real operational constraints rather than generic sci-fi imagery.

Exhibited to over 1,000 delegates at the RCRC General Assembly in Antalya, Turkey, alongside work by fellow selected designers Superflux and The Situation Lab (Dr. Stuart Candy). The work — credited as "Citizenship Kit" — was later featured in Fast Company, and has since been re-exhibited at Stories4Policy (Lancaster University, 2022) and referenced in "Everything Will Be Fine" (Tactical Tech / HAU Hebbel am Ufer, Berlin, 2022).
